Why we started Gourmet for Good

At Wild West Gourmet, we’ve always wanted to support the communities that support us. But as a small business with big commitments, we found ourselves in a tough spot. We were constantly receiving requests for raffle prizes and sponsorship, and it disappointed us to have to say "no" simply because we couldn't afford to give product away and stay viable.

One morning, we had a realisation. We didn't need to just give, we could partner. 

By sharing a portion of our sales, we could help Kiwi communities raise serious money, far more than a single raffle basket ever could, while ensuring our own doors stayed open.

That’s how Gourmet for Good was born. It’s our way of ensuring that when you need support for your school camp, your animal rescue, or your local club, we can finally say "yes."
